Chandigarh, Oct 30 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini participated in the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge’ ceremony in Chandigarh on October 30. He paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to mark his birth anniversary which is celebrated on October 31 as National Unity Day. “It is a proud day for us as we celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel tomorrow. The entire country along with Haryana is commemorating this day as 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' and conducting ‘Run for Unity’. India is reaping the benefits of the many decisions he took...I also extend my good wishes to everyone on this festival of Diwali. I pray to Lord Ram to bless us to make a strong Haryana. PM Modi gave true tribute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel by making the Statue of Unity...,” said Nayab Singh Saini. “I thank the Election Commission of India for their decision. Congress always takes the support of lies as they never get votes based on work. Their lies will not sell anymore. They only did corruption and scams. People have rejected the lies said by Congress. ECI has rejected the lies propagated by Congress…,” he added.
