Minister Krkobabic: Christmas is a real opportunity for solidarity

Belgrade [Serbia], January 7: On the occasion of Christmas, the Minister for the Care of the Village, Milan Krkobabic, sent a congratulatory message with the most sincere messages to the Orthodox believers, monks, clergy and His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Porphyry.
"I wish you peace, good health and general improvement! May Christmas, the holiday of birth, love, tolerance, hope and reconciliation, bring harmony, mutual respect and progress to the homes of believers, especially to the hardworking hosts in the most remote villages of Serbia," said the minister.
"Let intergenerational solidarity remain our eternal imperative. A high degree of social responsibility is a necessary act of our daily attitude towards all well-intentioned people, especially towards those with special needs, people with disabilities and all socially vulnerable groups", Krkobabic pointed out.
He added that the day of Christ's birth is the right opportunity to show human solidarity: young people with the elderly, rich people with the poor, powerful people with the weak, but also the solidarity of those from the cities with those from the countryside.
"Only with full mutual respect and understanding will we be able to overcome even the greatest trials together. Peace of God, Christ is born," said Milan Krkobabic.
