Hanoi [Vietnam], March 15: Appearing on the show 'Sao check', actor Mạnh Trường shared his thoughts about his acting career. He revealed that his wife is his strong support system, allowing him to focus on his profession.
Recently, Mạnh Trường impressed audiences with his role in "Space and Time ." For the actor, this is a special project that he feels proud to be a part of. Meanwhile, the role of Triển in the film "The Dividing Line" initially made the 8X star hesitant. When he first read the script, Mạnh Trường found it a difficult subject. Therefore, he directly called the director to express his worries. However, thanks to the encouragement and support of everyone, the father of three children became more confident in completing the project.
"What surprised me was that because this is a political drama, the audience would be quite small. But unexpectedly, the project was well-received when it aired. That made me happy and also motivated me to continue pursuing challenging projects," he expressed.
For Manh Truong, 2025 is a year that makes him feel fulfilled. Explaining this, the 8X star admitted, "It's not every day that you have the luck to participate in two projects so close together yet completely different like this."
The actor further revealed that during the filming of "No Time," he was almost constantly away from his family. "Sometimes, we actors get to go home for a few days a month, but the entire crew stays in Son La, Moc Chau, and even other very remote locations for months at a time," Mạnh Trường shared.
Speaking further about his career, Mạnh Trường admitted that initially, he didn't intend to pursue a career in the arts. In his senior year of high school, the father of three was advised to try modeling because of his tall stature. After a year of studying, he participated in several competitions, and then a friend connected him with a three-month acting course. "Usually, that class is a stepping stone for people to apply to theater schools. At that time, my wife and I were dating. She was the one who encouraged me to try acting," he said.
Throughout his career, Mạnh Trường has captivated audiences with his roles as sophisticated and charming "CEOs." Sharing his thoughts on this, the actor stated: "When a character is handsome in a way that's outwardly cold but inwardly warm, many women will like them. And people not only like the character but also the actor himself. My early films weren't typical 'prince charming' roles; there was even a period where I was given weak-willed characters. But perhaps the 'prince charming' archetype in films has benefited me greatly."
