Myanmar reports 192 new COVID-19 cases

Yangon (Myanmar), January 7: The number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 531,624 in Myanmar after 192 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Thursday.With two new deaths, the death toll has increased to 19,284 on Thursday, the release said.A total of 509,600 patients have been discharged from hospitals so far.Myanmar detected its first two COVID-19 positive cases on March 23, 2020.Source: Xinhua
