District Police Chief Killed In Uruzgan

Kabul (Afghanistan) June 30: Local officials in Uruzgan said that Shah Mohammad Shah, the district police chief for Dihrawood district, was killed in an attack by armed men on Monday.
Zargai Abadi, governor spokesman said the incident happened on Monday evening in the capital city of Tarinkot.
Two guards of Mohammad Shah were also wounded in the incident, Abadi said.
Shah Mohammad Shah has working in the policefor the past 20 years and he was attacked 35 times during his duties and 9 times wounded.
Shah lost both eyes in a mine explosion 6 years ago.
No one claimed responsibility for his death.
